Canadian Felting Week celebrates contemporary feltmaking in Canada.
We are excited to announce that the felt :: feutre 2018 Canadian Felt Symposium will take place in Cornwallis, Nova Scotia,  from September 30 to October 6, 2018.

We have an exciting event planned with 5 days of workshops, artist talks, vendors and an exhibition of works from talented Canadian feltmakers.

We have an exceptional line-up of internationally acclaimed workshop instructors.

The workshops run over five days, with both three day and two day classes with each instructor.

The workshops include an amazing array of felting techniques including garment making, structural bag making, sculptural headware, surface design in both 3 dimensional forms and 2D wall art, silk painting, and stunning landscape art.

Registration for felt :: feutre canada members opens on February 21, and general registration for non-members opens on March 1.

We are so looking forward to meeting and felting with our 2018 instructors:

Elina Saari  :: Finland

Kristy Kun :: USA

Jennifer Tsuchida :: Canada

Moy Mackay :: Scotland

Leiko Uchiyama :: Ireland

Ellen Bakker :: Netherlands
